Mentoring can supplementthe work of parents, teachers, counselors, social workers, and other mentalhealth and education services. Mentoringis one of the important strategies we use to help our adolescents andfamilies. 

Job requirements:
1.available to meet with the child twice a week for 1 1/2 hours, after schoolhours.
2.able to make a minimum of a one year commitment.
3. Meet with the mentoring supervisor once a month in our office inYerushalayim
4. Group supervision meetings in Yerushalayim in the evening -5-6 times duringthe year

-         ניהול חינוכי, לוגיסטיואישי של צוות מדריכים וחניכים ממדינות שונות על פי מחזורי המחנה, הנחייה חינוכית.

-         השתלבות בצוות המובילשל המחנה הכולל רכזים מכל העולם, פיתוח התוכנית החינוכית לקיץ והובלתה.

-         הדרכה והובלה שלפרויקטים בתחומים שונים במחנה.

 

אנחנו מספקים:

• כל הוצאות השהות במחנה, אוכל כשר, טיסות, ביטוח כבודה וביטוח רפואי מקיף, הוצאות וכלכלה מלאה במהלך סמינרי ההכנה לקראת הקיץ (פברואר, יוני)

The Lauder – JDCInternational Jewish Youth Summer Camp in        Szarvas, Hungary is looking foreducational youth counselors

 

Aboutthe camp:

          The international Jewish youth summercamp in Szarvas was established 18 years ago, aiming to create an internationalJewish experience for youngsters from East and Central Europe. By now the camphas grown beyond its original idea, and hosts youngsters from more than 20different countries each summer. The camp provides a unique summer experience whichcombines challenging Jewish educational program around a central theme andrecreational activities such as arts and crafts, Israeli folk dancing,swimming, sports, canoeing etc. Its special multi- cultural and Jewishatmosphere makes it a home for many of its participants, and serves as aplatform for the developing of Jewish identity, Jewish communal leadership andJewish solidarity.  Qualifications required: 

• People between the ages 22 – 30

• Fluent English (speaking, reading and understanding; any additional Central and Eastern European language is an advantage)

• Experience in informal education and "Hadracha", through youth movements, camps, Army service or other institutions (Experience with Diaspora Jewry is an advantage)

• Solid Jewish knowledge and commitment to the Jewish communities in Israel and in the Diaspora

• Readiness to work in an intensive working structure

• Leadership skills & teamwork experience

• Readiness to work in a pluralistic and multi-cultural environment.
