Strengthening Tolerance and Openness in Religious Zionist Education
Ne’emanei Torah Va’Avodah brings together educators, parents, and activists to reinforce the dual values of Torah and Avodah in the Religious Zionist education system. These values include social responsibility, general studies alongside religious ones, gender integration and equality, and independent thought.
In order to maintain a Religious Zionist voice in the worlds of formal and informal education, Ne’emanei Torah Va’Avodah works on a number of levels:
- We work closely with youth and youth leaders.
- We create unique educational materials.
- We conduct research on the state of public religious schools and develop projects to ensure that they maintain openness, integration, and high academic standards.
Our projects are advanced through lobbying the government on relevant issues and raising issues on the public agenda; when necessary, we work closely with schools, parents, and communities.
