In the twenty-first-century reality, in which people are constantly connected to their cell phones, Ne’emanei Torah Va’Avodah offers the Religious Zionist community a comprehensive application that gives them Jewish learning, prayers, and information at the touch of a finger. The Yomi app contains daily learning, a siddur, weekly Parsha lessons and zmanim for the day.
Yomi is a free app developed by Ne’emanei Torah Va’Avodah for people on the go who want to stay connected to Torah values and Jewish learning. Yomi includes:
- A daily shiur in Mishna with a socio-historical commentary by Prof. Ze’ev Safrai
- Three different versions of the siddur (or prayerbook; Ashkenaz, Sepharad, and Edot Mizrach)
- A daily Dvar Torah
- A weekly shiur on the Parsha
- Zmanim for the day
We are pleased to say that Yomi has been downloaded by nearly 3,000 people.
We are currently seeking funding to expand and upgrade the app, making it accessible on iPhones (it is currently available only for Android platforms). At the same time, we hope to create more content, including English-language shiurim.
